Description
We are offering a contract for a Data Engineer II position. This role operates in the technology industry, focusing on the design, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. A key part of this role is to ensure the quality of products and procedures through continuous monitoring and development.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing technical products and systems and providing recommendations for improvements.
Ensuring the quality of products and/or procedures through regular evaluations and alterations.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
Developing and implementing monitoring solutions, as well as performing software maintenance.
Establishing standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness.
Utilizing a range of open source technologies and tools to enhance IT operations.
Automating the deployment of software using tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
Managing data with an emphasis on automation tools.
Provisioning and managing applications in both virtual and cloud infrastructures, preferably AWS and Openstack.
Building strong relationships with QA and Software Engineers to maintain the continuous delivery of critical systems.
Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration, and managing revision control systems including branching and tagging strategies using Github.
Gaining container experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements
Proven experience in Procedures, Quality, and IT Operations
Strong background in Design and Supervising
Ability to manage Production and Troubleshoot issues effectively
Demonstrable experience in Implementation and Automation
Solid Engineering skills and understanding of best Practices
Expertise in Cloud Technologies and use of Monitoring Tools
Proficient in Coding and using GitHub
Experience with Deployments and AWS Technologies
Knowledge of Data Management and Automation Tests
Familiarity with Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, and Docker
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Kubernetes
