Technical Writer - Data Steward Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic Information Technology team at Resolution Technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting user access profiles in support of technology risk management initiatives and regulatory compliance. This role will also involve data stewardship and data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Technical Writer - Data Steward Responsibilities:

1. Technical Writing:

• Gather information from subject matter experts and other technical sources to understand and document processes and controls.
• Convert technical information into user-friendly content that is easy to understand.
• Maintain and update documentation versions to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Adhere to company documentation standards, templates, and style guides.

1. Data Stewardship:

• Perform data entry tasks to input, update, and maintain data from various systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data quality checks.
• Manage and organize data to support business processes and decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

1. Project Management:

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate the status of assigned projects and deliverables.

Technical Writer - Data Steward Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, technical writing, computer science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Strong technical aptitude and exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with data entry and data management tasks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and efficient.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and convert high-level directives into deliverables.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Some understanding of Information Security, Compliance, Governance, and Audit principles.
