Entry Level/Jr. (AWS & Python) IT Support/Maintenance (0-1 year) - 100% Remote
12+ Month contract with good chance for long term extension or contract to Permanent.
We are seeking an experienced IT Maintenance/Support Engineer for a long-term, ongoing contract with the potential for contract-to-permanent down the road. This role is with a very small company, where you will work independently to handle server-side security and maintenance. The architecture is already built, and the primary focus will be on maintenance and supporting API work within an established framework.
Ideally looking for some with 0-1 years of experience with Python and AWS.
Experience in School environment or internships would be great
Requirements:
- 0-1 years of experience with AWS.
- 0-1 years of experience with Python.
- Experience in server maintenance, security, and support tasks is a plus
- 0-1 years in backend Python development for APIs and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform server maintenance and ensure security across systems.
- Provide support for backend Python scripting, focusing on API development and integrations.
- Handle AWS-based infrastructure and ensure smooth operation and security of systems.
Work Schedule:
- Open to any U.S. time zone, with a preference for PST but not required.
This role focuses on support and maintenance, with minimal development involved. You ll be stepping into a structured environment with a well-established architecture.
