RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Salesforce Functional Lead - Tax in Miami, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and manage Salesforce Tax Engine or integrate third-party solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE) for automated tax calculations
* Deploy Salesforce e-invoicing solutions or integrate with Oracle and ONESOURCE
* Automate invoice generation, validation, and real-time submission to tax authorities
* Ensure compliance with government e-invoicing regulations
* Solution Design and Development
* Technical Leadership and Mentorship
* Compliance and Security
* Troubleshooting and Support
* System Configuration and Optimization
* Training
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation
* Experience in leading and mentoring teams
Functional:
* Expertise in global tax compliance and e-invoicing regulation
* Experience with Salesforce Tax Engine, ONESOURCE
* Strong knowledge of e-invoicing laws (Peppol, CFDI, SDI, etc.)
* Integration experience with ERP, billing, and accounting platforms
* Understanding of real-time tax reporting and audit requirements
Salesforce Expertise:
* Extensive experience with Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and potentially Experience Cloud
* Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and development methodologies
* Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies
* Experience with Salesforce CPQ (if applicable)
Tax Domain Knowledge:
* Understanding of tax regulations, processes, and terminology
* Experience with tax-related applications or systems
Technical Skills:
* Strong programming skills (Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, etc.)
* Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations
* Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
Operational:
Leadership and Communication Skills:
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Certifications Required or Preferred:
* Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Administrator)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
