We are seeking a Digital Signal Processing Engineer for a growing company in the Utica, NY area.
MUST be eligible to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.

Your role
- Develop signal processing algorithms to detect, decode, and process digital communication signals
- Participate in field tests, signal modeling for operational planning, building, and testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, such as software-defined radios (SDRs), for use in protype signal collection and processing systems
- Development of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design or modeling and analysis of Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
- Performing research, design, development and production of communications equipment and systems
Background Profile
- Bachelor s degree in math, electrical engineering or related field and industry experience
- Ability to perform in-depth technical evaluations of emerging communications technologies
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design or modeling and analysis of Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
- Knowledge of military systems and computer network technologies, designs, and programs
- 10+ year s professional experience in developing RF signal processing or digital communications
- Proficiency in some or all of the following programming languages: MATLAB, Python. Familiarity in C/C++ is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills needed to explain complex signaling systems with the ability to provide technical support for hardware design
