Dynasty Financial Partners is actively seeking a proactive and forward-thinking IT Systems Administrator to become an integral part of our expanding technology team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within our IT operations team, contributing to the strengthening and building of our internal systems. In this role, you will be providing support and engineering services, to ensure efficiency and adherence to process with the overall goal to protect and maintain internal systems in our everchanging landscape of technology.


This dynamic role, based in our St. Petersburg, Florida office, provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our IT efforts and will report directly to Dynasty s SVP, IT. We invite you to join us in our mission to continuously enhance our digital landscape.


Responsibilities:

Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting within Microsoft 365 Admin consoles.

Finding and developing efficiencies within processes through automation.

Assist in server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, investigate event log warnings, and resource monitoring in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

Monitor datacenter and cloud health using existing software tools and build, test, and maintain servers.

Execute processes around Microsoft related technologies: Exchange, O365, SharePoint, Intune, Autopilot, etc.

Manage technology assets, deploy images, and upkeep to maintain firm s compliance policies.

Provide first and second-tier onsite support for Dynasty employees, and remote support to employees based in other Dynasty offices.

Email experience: troubleshoot bounce-backs, SPAM, transmission issues, configure and troubleshoot mobile app issues.

Understand and bring efficiencies within existing processes and procedures.

Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and implementing company cybersecurity policies and solutions within the internal company environment.

Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain internal infrastructure requirements: workstations, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, internet, etc.

Assist in routine/scheduled updates and hardware life cycles.

Work with external MSP, hardware, and software vendors.

Work with others within Dynasty to understand and align business needs with departmental goals.

Occasional travel throughout the United States to support Dynasty initiatives.

Respond accordingly to critical incident needs.



Requirements:
  • 4-5 years working as internal technology support technician. CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco certifications are a plus.
  • Firm understanding of desktop hardware and operating systems and the use of hardware diagnostic tools to address operating systems issues.
  • Solid understanding of standard employee productivity suites Microsoft Office/Outlook, mobile device configurations and support.
  • Experience and functional knowledge of the Office 365 administration and related portals.

General understanding of basic networking principles, including:

  • Client-server networking, switching, and the Alphabet Soup of TCP/IP DNS, WINS, DHCP, routing and internet.
  • CAT5/CAT6 wiring, including wireless security and client configuration, and network firewall and security technology.
  • OSI Model
  • Entry-level knowledge of Active Directory, with the ability to perform basic user-account administration tasks.
  • Able to follow and understand process driven workflows
  • Familiarity with how to operate within an ITIL-based framework.
  • Experience with management tools: NinjaOne, Intune, Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, and Powershell, are a plus.
