Position: Sr Business Analyst
Location: Columbia, SC(Hybrid)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a complex technology merger involving 30+ internal teams and a broad portfolio of financial applications (e.g., loan
systems, teller platforms, data warehouse, customer systems). The analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the completeness and consistency of Business Requirements
Documents (BRDs) and Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs) across all teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate BRDs submitted by various teams; identify gaps and work with team BAs to elicit missing requirements.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure documentation aligns with merger goals and standards.
- Partner with technical leads to translate business requirements into actionable TRDs.
Facilitate working sessions, requirement walkthroughs, and clarification meetings with stakeholders. - Maintain a master view of requirements traceability across upstream and downstream systems.
- Report progress and risks to project leadership.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale technology programs, ideally within banking or financial services
- Proven expertise in requirements management, business process analysis, and documentation.
Strong communication and facilitation skills to work with both business and technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with financial systems and data integration is a strong plus.
