Direct Client Requirement
Title - SAP Production Controls
Duration - 12 Months Contract
Location- Toronto, ON, Canada (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Configure and schedule SAP batch jobs/job chains in Redwood RunMyJobs
• Troubleshoot failed batch processes per set guidelines
• Monitor and kill batch jobs in SAP S4 via SM37 and SM50 during troubleshooting
• Create time windows and submit frames to enable complex scheduling requirements
• Configure and use Active monitoring module for failures alerting
• Monitoring Data load activities and recovered failures in Dev, Quality system as a part of unit testing
• Perform Workload distribution
• Involving in solving high-prioritized tickets regarding extractions, performance issues and data load failures
• Manage the master job schedule for SAP batch processes and other applications to facilitate delivery of accurate and timely reporting
• Monitor Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
• Configure dashboards and reports
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, requiring analytical and organizational skills
• Explore and implement efficiencies in the tasks and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor College degree preferred or equivalent experience in Information Systems/Technology
• Thorough understanding of operations technology, terminology and processing methodologies
• 1-2 years of experience in SAP Basis/administration support role
• Knowledge on different SAP systems in landscape and data flow
• SAP ECC/SAP S4 batch jobs administration and scheduling
• Experience with Redwood BPA or RunMyJobs batch jobs administration and scheduling will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of SAP BI/ Business Objects Data Services (BODS) will be an added advantage
• Experience Java Script or Python script will be an added advantage
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and foster teamwork in others
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to "think outside the box " while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
