Job Title: Parts and Maintenance Logistics Support
Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Albany, NY
Background: The successful applicant will help ensure effective operations of the 300mm research line at our Albany NY facility dedicated to semiconductor research and development. The role will include working with the maintenance support team, ordering and tracking parts, maintaining inventory readiness in support of fab operational goals. This role provides the opportunity to join a world class team responsible for defining and delivering future nodes using a state-of-the-art research lab. The team is responsible for helping drive fast learning cycles and increasing the capacity of the 300mm research line. Ability to work with cross functional teams, strong communication and Excel skills are required.
Job Duties:
- Place orders with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels for semiconductor equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolve shipping and invoice issues and maintain strong relationships
- Maintain accurate records of orders placed
- Communicate across multiple teams including procurement, suppliers and tool owners
Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years experience, where applicable, in each skill:
- 3 years of experience working in a collaborative environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Organized, rational, critical-thinking problem solver
- Self-motivated and hard working
- Fluent English (both verbal and written) and strong communication skills
- Work on-site

- Must have the ability to communicate electronically and verbally to suppliers, vendors, contractors, and other tenants.
- SAP skills a plus
