Program & Construction Management (PMCM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology management, strategic planning, and team leadership. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive technological innovation and ensure the successful implementation of technology initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the technology strategy in alignment with the PMCM business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards, and quality assurance processes within the team.
  • Collaborate with PMCM Business clients to understand technology requirements, business processes, and technical system design and advise on areas to automate.
  • Partner with PMCM business and the internal technology teams to identify, vet and recommend automation solutions. Implement approved solutions.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions, including Program Management Information Systems.
  • Design scalable, maintainable and efficient software systems.
  • Manage and ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the technology infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting, resolving technical issues and addressing challenges in system implementation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their potential impact on the business line.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external technology partners and vendors.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Deep experience in implementation and change management.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, including familiarity in programming languages, frameworks and technologies, including but not limited to JAVA, SQL, Webservices, JSON, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and architectures (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, LoadSpring).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate the team.
  • Financial acumen, strong client/project focus, growth leader, inspirational leader, self-starter, and exceptional communicator. Experience with business cases preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of database administration, system architecture & design, and network administration.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Microsoft SharePoint, Trimble Unity Construct, PMWeb, Primavera P6, or similar is strongly desired.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree in relevant field is preferred.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a technology leadership role, with a track record of successful technology project delivery.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):
  • $133,300 - $200,000 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO, HI, MD and IL

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
