Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead the role in triaging production support tickets.
  • Learn the applications to the depth required to properly support them.
  • Operate and support the services you own to the established SLAs. This includes managing an on-call rotation and ensuring prompt incident response to resolve issues.
  • Review operational metrics, lead root cause analysis of issues, and drive appropriate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with a team of onshore Business Analysts to design, build, validate, and deploy software solutions.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure and other DEV teams to support the software delivery process.
  • Maintain excellent communication with IT Management on all tasks and projects.
  • Provide reports on IT systems performance and logging to management.
  • Assure compliance requirements are met for the Insurance area.

Qualifications

  • Keys to success in this position include a bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of production support experience and preferably one year in supporting commercial insurance applications.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and communicate this information to technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience working in a Commercial Insurance company is preferred.
