The time series analysis team is responsible for the development of modern time series models and tools in the product of SAS Econometrics, which has been widely used in business, government, and academia.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant's year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 - $31 for associate's/bachelor's level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master's/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.

As an intern, you might:
- Learn PROC TSGAN, a new procedure for time series Generative Adversarial Networks to generate the synthetic data for time series
- Build use cases for PROC TSGAN
- Perform further research on applying transformers in PROC TSGAN
- Perform further research on applying transformers in forecasting
Required Qualifications
- Students enrolled in an PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Econometrics, or related fields, not graduating prior to December 2025
- You've taken courses or participated in projects related to time series analysis or deep learning.
- You've got programing experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, SAS, C/C++
- You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you'll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty
- You're interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience using SAS
- Your research topic is related to time series analysis or generative AI
