You Are:

As a Senior Staff Cloud Storage Architect, you bring extensive experience and a deep understanding of cloud storage solutions, hybrid storage integration, and data lifecycle management. You are adept at designing scalable and efficient storage architectures that cater to the complex needs of modern EDA workloads, including AI/ML, HPC, and large-scale SaaS environments. Your expertise in cloud services, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure, coupled with your proficiency in automation and scripting, makes you a valuable asset in optimizing storage performance and ensuring data security. You are a strategic thinker with a keen eye for innovation, always exploring next-generation storage technologies to drive modernization initiatives. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with engineering and DevOps teams, ensuring that storage solutions are effectively integrated and aligned with Synopsys' goals.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and optimizing scalable cloud storage architectures.
• Proposing hybrid storage strategies for seamless integration between cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Formulating comprehensive data lifecycle strategies and establishing tiered storage models.
• Designing cost-effective backup solutions with swift recovery times and evaluating cloud-native and hybrid archival methodologies.
• Implementing encryption, access controls, and auditability across all storage layers to ensure data security and compliance.
• Optimizing storage performance for varied workloads and collaborating with FinOps teams to implement cost-effective storage strategies.

What You'll Need:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise storage architecture, cloud storage, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience & Certifications in cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, with a preference for Azure.
• Expertise in diverse storage models and data protection strategies.
• Experience with cloud security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code for storage management.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:

Our IT cloud team is responsible for providing best-in-class EDA Infrastructure & Design environment in the public cloud, optimized to meet the scale and complexity of the EDA workload. The team focuses on ensuring seamless and efficient storage operations for modern EDA workloads, including AI/ML, HPC, and large-scale SaaS environments. We are collaborative, innovative, and committed to excellence in all that we do.
