Senior Engineer Vehicle Dynamics Development

Top 3 Hard Skills & Experience Requirements
  1. Vehicle Dynamics Tuning (3+ years):
    Hands-on experience tuning components such as coil springs, air springs, dampers, anti-roll bars, bushings, tires, suspension control software, electric power steering, stability control, torque vectoring systems, and other related control systems.

  2. Data Acquisition & Analysis (3+ years):
    Proven ability to conduct both objective and subjective assessments, including setting up and interpreting data from advanced testing systems.

  3. Automotive Engineering Background (3+ years):
    Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics principles gained through professional automotive industry experience.

Experience:
3 5 years of relevant industry experience

Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field

Required Skills & Tools:

  • Demonstrated success delivering vehicles with high-performance dynamics

  • Experience with tuning both hardware and software vehicle systems

  • Proficient in both subjective and objective testing methods

  • Understanding of simulation tools (e.g., ADAMS, CarRealTime, CarMaker, CarSim)

  • Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, with bonus points for Python or C++

Preferred Experience:

  • Background with Formula SAE, Baja SAE, or motorsports

  • Tire development experience is a strong plus

  • Experience working at OEMs such as General Motors, Porsche, or BMW

  • Advanced driving certifications or training
