Position Overview:

As ADI expands our leadership position in the Healthcare market we are seeking an experienced technologist, who will look forward and identify trends that will steer our strategy and investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with thought leaders across the Healthcare innovation ecosystem. This is a senior leader with a successful track record of ideating and driving innovation in Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Initiative: Responsible for identifying and growing areas of breakthrough and sustainable technology advantage ahead of competition in Healthcare.

Collaboration and Coordination: interlock with the engineering and market teams across ADI and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall organizational strategy.

Capabilities / Behaviors Required:

Strategic Thinking: Scholar mindset, always looking for what's next. The ability to identify gaps and drive strategies. This includes identifying the intersection of market needs coupled with sustainable technology advantage to ensure the organization stays ahead of the market.

Innovation and IP Management: The ability to foster innovation and manage IP effectively. Identify opportunities for IP reuse and developing new IP to maintain a competitive edge.

Effective Collaboration: Effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including various functions/teams. Frequent check points with teams to understand latest market trends and assess any new and uprising technological needs. Ability to build relationships and interact well with multiple stakeholders.

Leadership and Accountability: Lead by example and instill a sense of curiosity and accountability within the team. Exercise sound judgment as you anticipate future needs.

What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Exceptional written, oral communication, presentation skills in front of audiences ranging from executive meetings to very large conference style presentations
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and present well-supported solutions

Requirements - Minimum Qualifications of the job:
  • Masters degree in electrical or biomedical engineering or equivalent experience, Ph.D. preferred
  • 10+ years combined research, team leadership, product management
  • Understanding of semiconductor and medical device market
  • Ability to influence across a broad spectrum of individuals and functions
  • Highly organized, self-directed style, with strong ability to prioritize
  • Must work well in a high-energy, team environment
  • Ability to travel 10% of time, domestic and international travel
