Application Developer III (Sharepoint)
Detroit, MI (Hybrid)

Engagement Description The cloud services offering which currently hosts the employer HR website has reached end of life and will be sunset. To maintain functionality and access for employees and contractors, employer will need to migrate the HR website to a new internal SharePoint platform. The purpose of the HR Website is to provide Human Resources supporting content and communicate information to employer employees about available services, new features/functions, and HR-related news and announcements. The HR Website provides access to corporate and HR policies and procedures. The HR Website also provides self-service documents, forms and supporting information for employees to effectively perform HR-related tasks such as open enrollment, performance management, and changes related to employee life events such marriage, birth of a child, or retirement Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
  • SharePoint front-end development buildout of intranet pages using existing content/web pages and net new content additions, where applicable
  • Consumer-grade SharePoint platform development (public page; intranet; etc.) focused on intuitive UX
  • Ability to operate independently with SharePoint tasks and complete work independently, while also suggesting areas of opportunity or new ideas based upon SharePoint expertise.

  • Strong collaboration with project team
  • Sharing of SharePoint expertise to drive strategic outcome
  • Creativity and end-user design thinking; visual storytelling
  • Perform project tasks with minimal supervision
