- Experience in wave, wind, and hydrodynamic modeling.
- Familiarity with industry standards like OCIMF and UFC.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional engineering licensure in Florida or ability to obtain it.
- Strong communication skills and a track record in designing waterfront structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform static and dynamic mooring analyses for nearshore structures using hydrodynamic and metocean data.
- Develop and optimize mooring configurations to balance cost, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze the impacts of wind, waves, and currents on mooring systems, ensuring resilience and adaptability.
- Prepare detailed mooring analysis reports and design documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to contribute to the development of coastal, port, and waterfront structures.
- Stay updated on industry standards like OCIMF and UFC, ensuring compliance in designs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with mooring analysis software such as OPTIMOOR, OrcaFlex, AnyMoor, or MIKE21.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated experience in wave, wind, and hydrodynamics modeling.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Florida or eligibility to become licensed.
