Contract through March 2025. Remote

Must reside in California.

Overview: MiraCosta is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to assist with the implementation of key features to enhance our case management activities. This role will initially focus on integrating the Email-to-Salesforce Case Management feature, with potential follow-up projects in student communications and veterans services case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Create and configure Salesforce Experience Cloud sites using the Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) framework to support user-friendly interfaces.
  2. Lightning Web Components (LWC): Develop dynamic LWC components to enable retrieval, display, and updating of Salesforce data, ensuring compliance with user permissions.
  3. Integration: Build LWC components that seamlessly integrate with external web services, including REST APIs, to enhance functionality and data exchange.
  4. Configuration Management: Configure Experience Cloud sites for both local and Single Sign-On (SSO) based authentication to provide secure and efficient user access.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in designing and developing Salesforce Experience Cloud sites, with a strong focus on the LWR framework.
  2. Expertise in creating Lightning Web Components (LWC) and integrating them with external web services.
  3. Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security, and user permission settings.
  4. Experience configuring authentication mechanisms, including SSO.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  6. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience with case management solutions in Salesforce.
  2. Familiarity with TargetX and its integration with Salesforce.
  3. Knowledge of best practices for Salesforce development and deployment.
