Job Details

Web Manager

Location: Washington, DC (2 days onsite required, 3 days remote)

Prefer a candidate that can Metro since parking is limited

This is a long term contract, will perhaps convert to perm

W-2 with PTO & Holidays, Insurance is available for purchase

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, education, etc

The Web Manager will manage the web operations, oversee web content production, ensuring seamless user experience and implementing strategies to enhance visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web management, a solid understanding of content management systems, a keen eye for quality, is process oriented appreciates process improvement, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, is customer focused, team-oriented, and skilled at project and time management. The individual should be capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented publishing environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional web management, design and editing experience
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong competency with HTML
  • Experience with SEO, web analytics (e.g., GA4), and digital marketing tools
  • Familiarization with Agile and Waterfall approaches
  • Experience with Atypon s hosting platform, Literatum
  • Understanding of publishing formatting: XML, XSLT to assist with reviewing and troubleshooting content related to display issues, by analyzing XML documents
  • Strong competency of the following development tools: CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Dreamweaver, XHTML, XSLT
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools JIRA, Monday.com, Asana, and/or Confluence is a plus
  • Experience with SQL server databases is a plus
