Job Details
This role involves working under general supervision, with a high level of independent judgment and expertise in handling complex and confidential issues, contributing to the development, maintenance, and improvement of business applications. The individual will operate with minimal supervision and provide technical support for both current on-premise applications and the EPM Cloud upgrade project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud Applications and industry best practices to develop solutions that enhance planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation.
- Use tools such as Python, Groovy, APIs, and EPM Automate to automate data administration tasks.
- Conduct system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing, driving efficiency in FP&A processes globally by automating manual tasks.
- Support on-premise systems during the transition to EPM Cloud.
- Administer Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications.
- Provide end-user support for data loading processes through FDMEE for Hyperion Planning and HFM.
- Assist with Month-End closing processes, metadata updates, and report updates.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- At least two full-scale, hands-on On-Premise to EPM Cloud implementations, including EPBCS, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and Narrative Reporting (NR).
- Experience reconciling data migration from HFM and planning systems to FCCS and PBCS.
- 10+ years of technical experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management products, including Smart View.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with EPM Cloud products.
- Strong knowledge of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, various consolidation methods, and financial statement disclosures.
- Expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud products like Planning, FCC, EDM, and NR.
- Strong technical skills in Oracle EPM components (ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Load Rules, MaxL, MDX).
- Solid understanding of accounting, long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with IT Security concepts (Access Controls, Change Management, etc.), with experience in security design and implementation being a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL is a plus.
- Expertise in custom integrations using EPM Data Integration, Data Integration Pipeline, Groovy Business Rules, and EPM Automate.
- Practical knowledge of scripting (Batch/Python/PowerShell).
- Proficiency in writing HFM rules, financial studio reports, calculation scripts, business rules, MaxL automation scripts, load rules, web forms, and financial reports.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
