Job Description: Client seeking an O365 resource with ADFS knowledge. Candidate will be working in an intensive, client focused, schedule driven environment. We are currently seeking a Microsoft 365 Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Overview: The Microsoft 365 Technical Support Specialist will work closely with the Customer's O365 team to deliver exceptional support for Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams, OWA, Azure Active Directory, and AD-Connect.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Exchange Server 2016 within a hybrid environment and will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Customer's O365 team to support and implement Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Provide strong expertise in managing Exchange Server 2016 in a hybrid environment.
  • Assist with documentation for processes and systems to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Offer technical support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk, working to resolve issues promptly.
  • Operate, monitor, tune, configure, manage, archive, and upgrade all technical infrastructure associated with projects.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of equipment and processes across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage the operation of all project IT storage infrastructure, including: o Deploying infrastructure reconfigurations. o Tracking performance and capacity of storage and servers. o Managing data backups and configurations. o Monitoring and responding to events affecting the integrity, availability, and performance of infrastructure. Support the physical management of equipment, including receiving, racking, stacking, connecting new equipment, and maintaining old or relocated equipment. Validate that firmware, BIOS, and embedded systems are secure, healthy, and up to date. Monitor and control all physical parameters through several systems.

Qualifications: Proven experience working with Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly Microsoft Teams, OWA, Azure Active Directory, and AD-Connect. Strong experience with Exchange Server 2016 in a hybrid environment. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on customer service. Familiarity with IT infrastructure management, including storage, servers, and backup solutions. Knowledge of network security best practices and monitoring techniques. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor s level degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five years relevant work experience required Strong knowledge of virtual environments Strong knowledge of ADFS, PowerShell Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve at the systems engineering level Experience with logical networks, virtual machine networks and infrastructure troubleshooting, design, and implementation Strong knowledge of Microsoft client/server platform technologies and client products Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise networks and routing protocols in a distributed computing environment, including the use of troubleshooting and diagnostics tools Knowledge of commercially available storage equipment
