Lead IT/Excel Analyst 

 

6-month contract with strong potential for extension or hire 

In-office Monday-Friday in South Charlotte, NC

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Lead Analyst to support our telecommunications client’s Location Lifecycle Management (LLM) Intelligence Project. This project involves cleaning up and enriching construction location data for approximately 75,000 projects representing over 3.5 million addresses. The Lead Analyst will serve as a technical lead and mentor to a team of analysts while directly interfacing our client’s leadership team and stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical guidance and support to a team of entry-level analysts 
  • Handle complex data manipulation and analysis using advanced Excel functions and SQL queries 
  • Interface directly with management and business stakeholders on project progress and technical challenges 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across the team 
  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies 
  • Support the development of training materials and best practices 
  • Assist in problem-solving complex data issues 

 

Requirements: 

  • 5-10 years of experience in data analysis or related field 
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation 
  • Experience with SQL querying and database concepts 
  • Address/location data experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior staff 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
