We are in search of a Technical Expert-Servers.

The Technical Expert (TE) provides leadership in developing cutting-edge solutions, strategies and protocols for the HPC Infrastructure environment.
  • They handle the most complex challenges, lead research and development initiatives, architect and design initiatives, and provide expert consultations to Program Managers and IT staff. Technical Experts are expected to set educational performance standards for the technical team.
  • TE's are also responsible for maintaining technical working aids, creating and developing standard operating procedures, and conducting technical exchanges and leading brown bag sessions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate poly
  • Must work on site 100% of the time
  • 15+ years of experience in a system architecture or administration role
  • Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Degree can be substituted with additional 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification Requirements: CompTIA Security+ CE (required), VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer (these certifications are a bonus to have)
Technologies:
  • Comprehensive experience across all utilized platforms, demonstrating visionary approach to system architecture, security, and performance optimization using VROps, vMware , vMware NSX, RHEL/CentOS, Centrify, Infoblox, Salt, Cobbler, Ansible, Nagios, Splunk, NoMachine NX, among others. They are expected to stay abreast of technological advancements and integrate emerging technologies beneficial to the organizational IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Linux provisioning server tools such as Kickstart and Cobbler to facilitate the automation of network-based system installations of multiple computer operating systems.
  • Enterprise-level management of Hyper-converged Infrastructure, vendor hardware and software across multiple data centers.
  • Experience using Atlassian's team collaboration software suite like Jira and Confluence to help organize teams, discuss and complete shared work.
  • Pioneer the security architecture, leading expansive vulnerability and risk assessments and Linux systems and automate solutions, while forecasting security trends.
  • Command the strategic domain architecture for group policy, computer objects within Active Directory and Centrify ecosystem using industry best practices.
  • Serve as the liaison and strategist for multi-team collaborations involving the network team, storage team, and SecOps, fostering a culture of synergy and futuristic planning.
  • Architect and revolutionize security mitigation frameworks, steering the organization's defense mechanisms and resilience building through automation.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $125000 - $237500

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
