- Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves)
- Experience:
- - Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and modern technology stacks.
- Technical Expertise:
- - Proven experience designing & architecting enterprise scale transactional systems following microservice, event driven architecture style.
- - Sound understanding and working knowledge of InfoSec and DevSecOps principles using AWS technologies. (preferred) Should be able to understand basic concepts infosec.
- - Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Amazon Web Services), including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDBand other cloud-native technologies.
- - Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- - Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- - Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Harness, Artifactory, and Terraform.
- - Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, VPN, and load balancing.
- - Experience working with monitoring and logging tools such as DynaTrace, AWS CloudWatch, and Prometheus.
- - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Security Knowledge:
- Must Haves:
- - In-depth understanding of security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure coding practices. Demonstrated ability to translate them into secure solution design.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
- Independent Worker and Team Player:
- - Ability to work independently to drive complex technical projects to completion, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Communication:
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education:
- - Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to code:
- - Hands-on coding with one or more languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# (Java preferred). Expertise in developing and deploying applications using microservices architecture, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Track record of including automated testing throughout the life cycle.
- - Experience implementing reusable software components, and shared libraries for enterprise-wide use.
- - Independently troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high availability and performance. Investigate and resolve complex software issues, providing support to the operations team.
- Certification:
- - Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Kubernetes, etc. are highly desirable.
- Experience working with Enterprise Architecture:
- - Experience working with enterprise architecture function in domain aligned environment, working with domain leadership, and presenting in architecture governance forums.
