In this role, you'll:
  • Manage the Security Awareness Program - Help educate and protect the campus community.
  • Support Identity & Access Management (IAM) - Manage user access and troubleshoot authentication issues.
  • Maintain & Support Campus Data Centers - Ensure critical systems run smoothly.
  • Respond to Security Incidents - Be part of the frontline defense against cyber threats.
  • Provide Tech Support - provision access to systems, initiate first connection to systems, and troubleshoot access-related issues in the Identity and Access Management System (IAM) and the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions employed by Radford University.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer operations including: Windows, MS Office, Web Browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), WiFi connectivity, and e-mail systems.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve technical problems.
  • Understands the principles of Identity and Access Management and cyber security principles surrounding access to IT networks and systems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies in the cybersecurity and access management domains.
  • Candidate must possess quality customer service and have strong communication skills. In order to provide the optimal support, this position will work on Radford's main campus.
