SCCM Endpoint Support Administrator

 

The Senior Endpoint Support Administrator plays a pivotal role within Endpoint Management Operations team, ensuring secure and efficient endpoint and server operations across the organization. This position provides Tier 3 system administration support, specializing in endpoint security, software deployment, and infrastructure configuration management. Responsibilities include managing tools such as MECM/SCCM, Intune, Antivirus platforms, Tanium, and AGPM, along with documentation of processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Endpoint Security & Management: Administer enterprise endpoint security tools, including configuration, inventory, software distribution, and patch management.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee system configurations and provide advanced troubleshooting for LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
  • Software & OS Expertise: Provide support for Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory environments.
  • Project Leadership: Lead endpoint-related projects, manage timelines and resources, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for processes and support procedures.

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in MECM/SCCM (software deployment, PowerShell scripting, and patching at an enterprise scale).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, M365, and related applications (Office, Visio, Project, SharePoint).
  • Advanced knowledge of endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, BitLocker, and Defender.
  • Familiarity with Ivanti Admin for non-Microsoft application patch management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage large-scale deployments across distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing MECM/SCCM in an enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, Intune (MDM/MAM), and Apple/WIN10 device management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external contractors effectively.
