Knoxville, TN | IT Systems Manager | Full-time
We are actively recruiting an IT Systems Manager for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a direct placement opportunity that will require working onsite in Knoxville with the ability to work some overtime as required. Key responsibilities include maintaining information technology strategies across a multisite global organization, developing a comprehensive technological strategy to meet company needs, delivering optimal return on investment, and maintaining utmost security in supporting commercial and federal regulations that apply to system operations. Must have a bachelor s degree in computer science or related field. MBA preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties
- Responsible for the overall technological strategy supporting the organizational goals of a multisite organization
- Collaborate with members of the executive team and global partners to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals
- Interactive management of an IT team of 5-10 direct reports
- Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technology systems
- Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures to ensure business continuity
- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements, and providing recommendations for improvement of the current IT infrastructure
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting and budgeting annual expenditures and CAPEX expenditures
- Lead development and implementation processes for the organization's IT systems, to include assisting in the integration of multisite global organization through merger and acquisition
- Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
- Facilitate IT security audits or investigations
- Coordinate multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP), managing ERP efforts and implementing across the organization
- Identify new developments and technologies, while anticipating the resulting organizational modifications
- Identify long-term IS needs and develop strategies for acquiring necessary systems, software, and hardware
- Leverage experience to support O365 and other key systems
