Job Description
You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the Sniper Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) teams. Our team is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and sustainment of the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP) through data-driven insights and strategic support.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing field performance metrics and data to inform LSE and Program leadership decisions, driving continuous improvement and optimization of the Sniper ATP.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining data visualization environments to provide actionable insights into field performance
Conducting data and trend analysis to support contract metrics and program goals
Collaborating on spares/replenishment procurement, repairs tracking, CDRL generation/support, and shipping/receiving activities
Analyzing contract financial data on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Creating interactive data analytics dashboards to measure and improve operational performance
Presenting thorough and detailed reports to identify areas of opportunity and drive future decision-making

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Experience tracking and reporting contractual metrics
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, charts, macros, pivot tables)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications
- Ability to review data and statuses and derive trends
-Sustainment experience or experience supporting general sustainment activities
Desired skills
- Experience in supply chain management
- Experience in financial data analysis
- Working knowledge of Asset Management System (AMS)
- Basic understanding of repair parts management and sustainment contracts

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 - $117,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
