Join us as a Rotational Intern at Schneider Electric in Chicago, IL! Dive into diverse projects, gaining hands-on experience across multiple facets of our operations. Explore, learn, and grow with us!"

What will you do?
  • Learn about Energy Management, Building Automation Control, HVAC Systems, and Electronic Security Systems
  • Rotational program to gain exposure to all aspects of the Business including sales, engineering, operations, and administration
  • Visit existing buildings and active construction sites to learn firsthand what it takes to implement a system
  • Get paired with a senior field or design engineer for exposure to the following job aspects:
    • Troubleshoot and repair customer systems
    • Coordinate installation activities of customers and subcontractors
    • Provide on-site training to customers
    • Suggest system improvements, modifications, etc.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Pursuing a degree in a related technical field with an interest in technical sales or operations / engineering.
  • General understanding or interest in HVAC, energy management, or other building / electronic control systems
  • Proficient in software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Applications and Visio
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to relate technical terminology to customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others
