Job Description
The Information Security Sr. Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of projects for the Global Cyber and Information Security Team which meet the defined business and technical requirements on time and within budget. Incumbent supports and improves business and technology processes by managing significant, cross-functional and multi-disciplinary projects impacting GTS Operations, Infrastructure, Security, Business Intelligence & Analytics and Compliance. Leads multiple information security and technology related projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules, and ensures timely delivery of assigned projects
Manages project budget and financials
Ensures project compliance with IT Policy
Coordinates project communication and status reporting
Manages project work plan using GTS PPM tool
Responsible for creating or coordinating the creation of required project artifacts
Manages project repository in Microsoft Teams / SharePoint
Interacts closely with project stakeholders
Operationally troubleshoots complex issues
Coordinates integration of various modules and ensures compliance with expected quality standards
Ensures optimum utilization of resources and meeting of budgetary targets
Highly self-motivated - functions under broad supervision
Indirectly leads project team members
Qualifications/Skills
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree
15+ years related experience required, including information security/infrastructure projects and technical project management implementations
Experience producing detailed project plans, schedules and associated project artifacts
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
Extensive experience in project reporting, including executive level briefing
Preferred:
PMP certification (highly preferred)
Previous experience managing information security initiatives
