Job Title: Automotive mechanic

Location: Arnold, MO

Salary: $1,200.00+ weekly pay

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Mechanic to join our team. As an ASE Certified Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while upholding our commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and other potential issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timelines to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for billing purposes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• ASE certification in one or more areas such as Engine Repair, Brakes, Suspension and Steering, Electrical Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Solid understanding of repair techniques and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication skills to explain complex technical information to customers.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.
