Job Title: Data Center Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Engineer, where you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth running of our data environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate deployment and break-fix activity
- Retrieve parts and components from storerooms and prepare for installation
- Conduct deployment and installation work, as well as upgrades of old equipment
- Perform break-fix tasks, including swapping out failed components and validating the right gear
- Collaborate with remote hands staff to ensure all tasks are completed daily
- Participate in nightly calls before maintenance starts
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Cisco Server, Dell Server, and Cisco Network hardware
- Experience with structured cabling - running jumpers
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Nlight (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate remotely
- Any Cisco or Dell Certifications, Server Plus would be a plus
