Job Details

Tesla is seeking an experienced Power Module Design Engineer who is an expert in HPC power module design. This individual will architect, design, and characterize high density power module products using state of the art technology. A thorough knowledge of power supply architectures, magnetics, simulation, and control loop analysis is required. The candidate must be a team player with excellent verbal and written skills, an ability to work independently and methodically. The individual should be able lead projects and coordinate with various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Innovate and architect next generation ultra-high density power module design for AI supercomputer application
  • Collaborate with power industry to define and develop key power module technologies
  • Work with EE, packaging, mechanical, thermal, SI/PI, layout teams to implement the power module design from concept to volume production
  • Characterize and debug the design in the lab

Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant hands-on hardware experience
  • Extensive experience in semiconductor, PMIC and power module design
  • In-depth knowledge in magnetic and inductor design
  • Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented
  • Proficient in control loop analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to characterize, debug and troubleshoot innovative designs in the lab
  • Proven experience on the complete product development cycles with cross-functional team
  • Strong communication skills

      $104,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
