Job Title: Informatica Architect/ ETL/ELT and Data Integration Developer
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: Full time Permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL/ELT and Data Integration Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to enable efficient data movement and integration across various source and target systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and optimize data workflows in line with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses and data lakes.
- Data Integration Solutions: Analyze data requirements, source systems, and target data models to design optimal data integration solutions.
- Data Transformation: Develop and maintain data transformation logic using SQL and scripting languages.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and cleansing routines to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and maintain the performance of data pipelines, troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12+ years in the IT industry with 8+ years of ETL/ELT, Data Ingestion, and Data Integration development experience.
- Data Architecture: 5+ years of experience in data architecture, including leading technical design and driving solutions.
- ETL Tools: Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) with Informatica PowerCenter; experience with Informatica Cloud (IIC) and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) is desirable.
- Data Pipeline Migration: Experience in migrating data pipelines from Informatica to other ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), DBT, Ascend.IO, or Talend.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and PySpark (desirable); development experience with Ascend.IO is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
