Description

GPI seeks a motivated Assistant Systems Administrator with 2+ years of relevant IT experience to support our operations throughout NH and MA. This position will include weekly or monthly visits to all five of our New England offices. An important part of this role is providing direct support to technical and non-technical staff members. All applicants must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. This position will work closely with the local Systems Administrator and Regional IT Manager and rely on established guidelines to perform the job's functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide service desk support for field and office staff
  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot computer systems and computer peripherals
  • Maintain user account information, including rights, security, and system groups
  • Aid in documenting IT systems and processes
  • Assist with regional office and company-wide projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant IT experience
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
  • MSCE / MCITP certifications or equivalent experience
  • Thorough interpersonal communication skills both in person and remote
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft Server 2016 to 2019 preferred

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
