RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a NOC Technician who will monitor and troubleshoot the company's network systems, often in a 24/7 environment:
Responsibilities:
* Network monitoring: Monitor the network for issues, including breaches of service level agreements (SLAs)
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix network issues, such as problems with routers, switches, and phone platforms
* Customer service: Provide technical support to customers and be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries
* Documentation: Update network documentation and maintain an inventory of hardware and software
* Reporting: Generate reports on network performance
* Training: Train new employees and provide remote technical support to field technicians
* Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain network infrastructure
* Escalation: Escalate tickets to engineering and operations groups as required
* Support systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
* Technical experience with programming, operating systems, network monitoring, and performance tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
