Job Overview:
Google Cloud is seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer IV to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions for strategic customers.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, Multi-Agent Architectures, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
This role requires a hands-on engineer capable of transforming AI prototypes into scalable production systems while collaborating directly with customers and internal engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy complex enterprise AI applications.
- Transform rapid AI prototypes into production-ready agentic workflows.
- Design and implement:
- Multi-Agent Systems
- AI Agents
- MCP Servers
- Enterprise AI Platforms
- Architect integrations between Google AI products and customer infrastructure.
- Build connectivity layers across:
- APIs
- Legacy Systems
- Enterprise Data Platforms
- Security Boundaries
- Design and implement RAG-based enterprise AI solutions.
- Build high-performance evaluation frameworks and observability platforms.
- Measure and optimize:
- Accuracy
- Latency

- Develop reusable AI solution accelerators and frameworks.
- Identify recurring implementation patterns and convert them into reusable assets.
- Partner with Google Customer Engineering teams to drive successful AI adoption.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops with customers.
- Promote engineering best practices and long-term solution sustainability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience building structured and unstructured data pipelines.
- Experience implementing:
- Vector Databases
- RAG Architectures
- Enterprise AI Platforms
- Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions from concept through deployment.
- Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
- Experience leading customer-facing technical discovery sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience building Multi-Agent Systems using:
- LangGraph
