As a systems test engineer consultant in Product IT, you'll lead the development of our platform test strategy, focusing on both manual and automated testing. You'll be responsible for planning and prioritizing testing improvements, working closely with Systems Test Engineers, QAA leaders, Domain Architects, Product SM and Delivery leadership to ensure our test strategy and automation roadmap supports their needs. You'll also consult on test strategies for larger projects and initiatives across Product SM and Delivery, while working with a team of capability leaders on the Product Architecture and Enterprise Services (PAES) team. Together, you'll drive the optimization of IT capabilities across key value streams like Rating, Underwriting, Pricing, and Telematics, continuously seeking to remove obstacles and support teams through changing technology and processes. You'll develop Product IT's Test Strategy for 2025 and beyond, establish and promote best practices, streamline automation tools, leverage AI to enhance testing processes, and increase defect detection through automation. Lastly, you'll play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within testing and facilitate communication and collaboration across the Product testing community to promote knowledge sharing and testing advancements.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must have qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS) and a minimum of eight years of work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs or applications.
• In lieu of degree, a minimum of ten years related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and leading complex test automation strategies for a large program or department.
• Familiarity with modern web development architectures, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CICD) and test automation frameworks.
• Experience creating testing tools, frameworks, and test automation scripts for a variety of applications, and the ability to discern when their creation and use is strategically beneficial. Also programming with C#.
• Experience with auto insurance Product and/or an understanding of Rating, Underwriting, Pricing and Telematics.

Compensation

• $136,400 - $168.400/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
