Piper Companies is on the lookout for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Managed Ansible on Cloud team. This role offers a flexible work environment, allowing you to work remotely or from one of our many global offices. The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities for the Site Reliability Engineer Include:
  • Develop and maintain software to automatically provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform managed applications in Azure.
  • Write Ansible automation playbooks to reduce toil.
  • Support the operations of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform by responding to and troubleshooting system alerts.

Qualifications for the Site Reliability Engineer Include:
  • Strong Ansible and CI/CD experience
  • Must have Red Hat OpenStack Platform experience
  • Software development experience using a general-purpose language. Python or GoLang are a plus.
  • Linux administration experience. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Fedora
  • Kubernetes administration.
  • Understanding of computer networking including DNS.
  • Basic knowledge of software development life cycle tools, like GitHub and Jenkins.
  • Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or scrum processes.

Compensation for the Site Reliability Engineer Include :
  • Annual salary: $125,000 - $175,000
