Job Title: Enrollment Analyst

Job Description

As an Enrollment Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and updating electronic data files, troubleshooting system problems, and providing technical support to clients. Your role will include analyzing and resolving data issues, coordinating with third-party administrators, and overseeing programming changes.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, monitor, and update ongoing electronic data files.
  • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic data files and system problems.
  • Provide information to other business units regarding payment and file processing results.
  • Initiate corrective action and provide follow-up to ensure corrections are completed.
  • Request, oversee, and test programming changes to electronic data processing.
  • Consult with clients and third-party administrators to resolve electronic data reporting and system logic problems.
  • Implement electronic data file transmissions and facilitate external user access.
  • Coordinate and provide ongoing training and technical support to end users.
  • Assist programmers in reviewing program code, analyzing, automating, and testing projects.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with health insurance claims and data entry.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Claims processing knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience processing electronic eligibility data/files (nice to have).
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to solve problems using independent judgment.

Work Environment

Home office environment. Reliable internet and a quiet workspace are required. Equipment can be picked up on Day 1 in Okemos, or shipped if living more than an hour away.
