RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Operational Change Manager.
Job Summary
The Operational Change Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and adoption of the upgraded Maximo system at Kforce client. This individual will focus on ensuring that all aspects of operational change are effectively managed, ensuring a smooth transition for users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management, organizational transformation, and experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, particularly IBM Maximo. The Change Manager will work closely with Operations Division leadership, technical teams, and end users to drive successful outcomes. Due to the typical ebb and flow of work on the project, we do not expect there to be full-time OCM work for the duration of the project. The candidate should expect to perform project management or business analysis duties when OCM duties do not require full-time work.
This client uses Maximo across the organization to manage assets. It was originally implemented as an enterprise system in 2007 and will soon be on version 7.6.1.3. It has been hosted on premise since its original implementation. The upgrade is to the Maximo Application Suite, likely version 9.0 or 9.1. Maximo will also migrate to the cloud (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) for future administration by managed services at IBM. We do not expect major functional changes with the upgrade or major changes to user workflows. Therefore, change management could be relatively minimal. However, Maximo is used in some capacity by 700 of our 1000 staff, so even small changes will have a significant impact on the business. This is the reason we require a dedicated OCM.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, IT, or a related field
* Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred
* 5+ years of experience in change management, ideally in utility or public sector environments
* Proven track record of managing change within enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, preferably IBM Maximo
* Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and maintenance processes
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Proactive and independent mindset, able to develop their own workplan
* Ability to thrive in environments lacking clearly defined process, to define new processes, to propose and implement improvements to current processes
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment
* Knowledge of project management tools and processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.
