Job Title: Kafka Admin & Support

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3 days a week)
Contract Duration: 1 year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Kafka Admin & Support professional with 7+ years of experience to manage and maintain our Apache Kafka environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of Kafka clusters, providing technical support, and responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kafka Administration: Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, perform patch management, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex Kafka issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with support teams.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize Kafka configurations and conduct capacity planning.
  • Incident Management: Respond to incident tickets and document resolutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and provide training for support teams.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Apache Kafka administration and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka architecture and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, 3 days a week.
