Job Details

NOC Support Technician Contract Length: 12 months+ (with potential extension)
Location: Downtown Dallas 100% onsite required! Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday 8am-4pm
This is a 24/7 operation and may require additional on-call hours. All team members are expected to be available in the event of critical issues or emergencies.
Please note, we are ONLY accepting candidates willing to be onsite 100% of the time, 5 days/week and available to work Wednesday-Sunday
We are seeking a skilled NOC Tech to provide tier 2 support in managing video monitoring and access control systems. The candidate will work independently under general supervision, support system implementations, troubleshoot network issues, and collaborate with vendors and service providers. The role requires expertise in network protocols, video monitoring systems, and telecom design.
Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Advanced degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience as a NOC Specialist or in technical support role (video monitoring, access control, telecom systems)
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications network design, equipment, and regulatory standards
  • Experience with network monitoring systems and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with video monitoring systems, access control, and telecom standards
  • Ability to multitask and self-motivate in a fast-paced NOC environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain telecom networks, focusing on video monitoring and access control systems
  • Coordinate planned outages and provide root cause analysis for network issues
  • Perform capacity, availability, and response time analysis on transport networks
  • Provide primary support for major systems and secondary support for minor systems
  • Support network operation, maintenance, and repair efforts to ensure high reliability
  • On-call availability for 24x7 network operations and troubleshooting
  • Assist in training new NOC staff and updating system documentation
  • Adhere to safety practices and follow Change Management policies for system changes
  • Monitor critical sites and manage alarm monitoring software/video surveillance equipment
