Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:
- Creates programs for all inspection machines, primarily 3D AOI Programming.
- Edits, debugs, and optimizes AOI inspection programs as needed for every batch of assemblies.
- Monitors and corrects systemic programming issues and document additional critical criteria.
- Performs, machine calibrations, monitor and sustain preventive maintenance activities on AOI equipment as needed.
- Trains other Programmers, Machine Support technicians, and Machine Operators on detailed machine instructions updates / changes.
- Run machine generated reports and data to Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, QA, and Manufacturing groups for machine inspection programs/ results.
- Troubleshoots machine related and process-related issues.

- High school diploma or equivalent education AND technical school certificate OR equivalent education and training required.
- 3-5 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing or PCB industry or similar fields, preferably with at least 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, or a similar role.
- IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing monitoring and MRP systems.
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Knowledge of military/aerospace, medical device, CAPA and continuous improvement is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
