RH OCP 4 Deployment Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant specializing in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4 to join their team. In this role, the RH OCP 4 Deployment Consultant will lead the deployment, optimization, and support of enterprise-grade OpenShift platforms, enabling clients to achieve scalability, reliability, and innovation in their containerized environments.

REQUIREMENTS:
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), particularly version 4
* Proven track record of deploying and managing enterprise-scale OpenShift environments
* Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration technologies
* Proficiency in Linux system administration, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
* Expertise in IaC tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent automation frameworks
* Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (e.g., load balancing, DNS, firewalls) and storage solutions (e.g., Ceph, NFS)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments
* Strong communication skills and experience interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
* Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
* Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
