Enterprise Data Infrastructure Engineer

They are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Data Infrastructure Engineer (IE). The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and monitoring of all technology-based systems and associated infrastructure.

Focus:
- Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure systems, including distributed compute, data orchestration, distributed storage, and streaming infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide enterprise application and technical support to end users, both in-person and remotely, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Resolve support requests directly or in collaboration with key external IT service providers.
- Identify, diagnose, and rectify issues with computer hardware, software, services, and applications.
- Offer reactive and proactive support to business units, prioritizing critical issues.
- Deliver measurable results on time-sensitive topics and document, track, and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure, including configuration, patching, automation, hardening, and system upgrades.
- Ensure overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability, and security.
- Act as a liaison with third-party vendors and IT providers.
- Manage enterprise IT projects.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field required.
- Proficient in Azure Cloud infrastructure, virtual servers, and application management (off-premises).
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS 10/11, MSFT Azure Cloud, and AD Management.
- Solid experience with networking hardware/software, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN.
- Experience with advanced PowerShell scripting, System administration and SQL database management.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications (AVD) and MSP support software.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
- Intrinsic desire to learn and share knowledge effectively.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
