Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Sr. Data Engineer with Google Cloud Platform, Data Warehousing, ETL, Python

Job Description:

Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer with Google Cloud Platform, Data Warehousing, ETL, Python

Job Location: Pleasanton, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $72- $78 C2C, $55 - $64 W2

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Warehousing
    1. Understanding of data warehousing concepts
    2. Experience with tools like BigQuery for storing and querying large datasets.
  2. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
    1. Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines using tools like
      1. Dataflow
      2. Apache Beam or Cloud Composer
  1. Programming Languages
    1. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for building data pipelines and performing data manipulation tasks.
  1. Database Management
    1. Knowledge of database systems, particularly BIg Query, Google Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner
  1. Data Modeling
    1. Ability to design and implement data models for efficient storage and retrieval of data
  1. Google Cloud Services
    1. Google Cloud Platform services such as Pub/Sub for messaging, Cloud functions etc
    2. Data Catalog for metadata management
    3. Data Studio for data visualization
  1. Version Control and Code deployment
    1. Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing code
    2. GitHub Actions
