Job Details

The Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst position supports system level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) analytical support for specific test phases in support of IBCS HWIL activities and provide comparative feedback to the customer as required. As a System Analyst, the candidate will develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools and support M&S technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups, as well as prepare for and support meetings with analyses and reports.

Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other STEM related degree or possess equivalent experience

8+ years of experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) weapons systems, data analysis, Flight/Ground tests and system modeling & simulation and/or system performance analysis

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge

Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions and develop accurate written materials to communicate information clearly and concisely.

Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules.

Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.

Ability to build solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers.


Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive experience with IBCS software

Extensive experience with Link-16

Possess an understanding of requirements management and analysis functions, including crosswalks and traceability between M&S and weapon systems.

M&S design, development, integration, and test experience, with broad based knowledge of space, missile and/or launch systems at the component through system level.

Demonstrate an understanding of program planning and execution, systems engineering, design processes, weapon system integration, and performance assessment.
