Job Description

The Strategic Technology Advisor will serve as a senior-level liaison between Datawiz and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), specifically the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP). This role is responsible for providing strategic oversight and guidance across multiple IT service task orders under the Datawiz sole source BPA with EPA. In addition to this EPA specific support this role will grow into providing strategic guidance to all Datawiz customers and targeted future customer sets.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage with senior management at EPA to understand long-term vision and strategic objectives
Provide technical oversight across all task orders to ensure alignment with EPA's long-term vision and technical architecture
Shape Datawiz offerings to fit evolving EPA customer needs, particularly in areas such as solution development, software applications O&M, Salesforce operations, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity
Communicate regularly with EPA stakeholders at all levels
Co-create strategies and solutions with EPA clients, focusing on innovative approaches to chemical safety and pollution prevention initiatives in coordination with the Datawiz senior solutions architec.
Ensure consistent messaging and approach across GTSC project teams
Identify opportunities to expand EPA's use of GTSC services, leveraging experience from other federal agency engagements
Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and their potential applications for EPA
Collaborate with GTSC project managers to optimize delivery and performance across task orders
Stay abreast of federal IT policies, regulations, and trends impacting EPA operations
Contribute to program management and governance initiatives to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Qualifications:
25+ years of experience in federal IT consulting, with a focus on environmental or regulatory agencies
Deep understanding of federal IT acquisition processes and best practices, including experience with both prime and subcontract roles
Strong technical background across areas such as enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, software development, enterprise COTS platforms, and infrastructure management
Proven track record of building and maintaining C-level client relationships in federal agencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Experience leading large, complex IT programs in the federal space, particularly in areas related to chemical safety and pollution prevention
Familiarity with diverse IT services including database administration, SharePoint application development, and IT security assessments
Knowledge of federal contracting mechanisms, including BPAs, task orders, and set-aside programs
Active security clearance preferred

Additional Skills:
Familiarity with cybersecurity initiatives, particularly in the context of environmental protection agencies
Understanding of software application operations and maintenance best practices
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks commonly used in federal agencies
Experience with program management and governance in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate at both the technical and executive levels, providing valuable insights to shape the future of EPA's technology landscape while ensuring successful execution of current initiatives.
