Analytics Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Overview:
As a senior-level Analytics Engineer within the Digital Analytics Engineering team, this individual will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of digital analytics solutions. The engineer will focus on enhancing digital customer experiences by integrating and managing Adobe Analytics framework across various digital platforms and interfaces. The role requires collaboration with digital product managers, technology teams, and analytics groups to ensure the delivery of precise and actionable data insights.

Responsibilities:
* Analytics Engineer will implement and configure analytics solutions using Adobe Analytics to capture detailed and actionable data across digital platforms
* Work closely with digital product owners to understand customer features and ensure that the analytics implementations align with business KPIs
* Maintain a standardized approach to data tagging and tracking to support robust and consistent analytics reporting
* Conduct thorough testing and validation of analytics implementations in both staging and production environments to ensure accurate data collection
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within Adobe Analytics, providing initial insights and ongoing performance metrics to the digital organization
* Collaborate with IT, data governance, and risk management teams to ensure that analytics practices comply with all regulatory and quality standards
* As an Analytics Engineer, you will actively participate in agile team settings to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to data tagging or analytics tracking
* Define and document technical requirements for the integration of new analytics technologies and data assets, with a specific focus on leveraging the XDM standard

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* 10 to 15 years of experience in Hogan CAMS
* 7+ years of experience with developing and implementing applications

Preferred Skills/Experience:
* 7+ years of experience in a role focused on web analytics and digital tagging implementations
* HOGAN Mainframe Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, MQ and VSAM development experience
* Strong Endevor, FileManager, EZTRIEVE and TSO Development skills, Tool experience
* Expertise in JavaScript and experience with Web/Mobile SDKs related to digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
* Strong understanding of WebSDK and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and its integration with digital analytics and data management workflows
* Experience with Tag Management Systems (e.g., Tealium, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager) and a clear grasp of digital analytics architectures
* Experience with mobile programming (iOS or Android)
* Ability to work effectively in a continuous delivery environment and utilize modern programming methodologies
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent debugging skills
* Good understanding of third-party dependency management and transitive dependency issues
* Strong knowledge on IMS database
* Understanding of the software development life cycle
* Experience with implementation and release management activities
* Good understanding of unit/system and functional testing methodologies
* Experience working in large transaction-based systems
* Experience writing technical designs
* Experience documenting technical functions
* Strong communication and good leadership skills
* Have a strong ability and interest in working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical teams
* Strong proclivity to follow coding standards and execute a best practices approach in build processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
